English 225: Reading between the lines
The focus of my English 225 class was rhetoric, a new concept to me sophomore year. All of our pieces throughout the semester would eventually culminate in a seminar paper and this piece was the rhetorical analysis component. Our topics were again self-selected and I chose to write about the relationship between the Athletic Department and the School of Kinesiology at the University, something brought to my attention freshman year. This paper began my development of critical reading and questioning information to draw my own conclusions.
